You enter your first name, (optionally) surname, form of address, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth.

Your location on the moon page

On the moon page you can choose "for your location" on a small map. Only after you click does your browser ask for your location. It stays in the memory of the page and is not sent or stored.

Who receives your data?

How do we protect your data?

The website talks to our own computer through a secure connection and a secret key; the connection is not publicly reachable. Our language model is never directly reachable from outside. We do not log personal data. Requests are protected against abuse with limits.

Your rights

You have the right of access, correction and deletion of your data, to restriction of processing, to object and to data portability. Because we store nothing about you, there is nothing for us to show or delete; the IP address in Vercel's logs falls under Vercel. You can send questions or requests to privacy@cellariushoroscope.com; we respond within one month. Do you disagree with how we handle your data? Then you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Automated texts

The positions of the Sun, Moon and planets are determined exactly with astronomical calculations. The text that explains those positions is written by a computer model that runs locally, based on your birth details and the positions of the planets today. The daily texts for each sign are written with the help of AI, checked automatically and read through in spot checks. The positions of the Sun, Moon and planets are calculated with astronomical precision for your moment and place of birth. The interpretation follows the Western astrological tradition: a centuries-old way of looking at the sky, not a scientific prediction. The texts do not lead to decisions about you.
