How it works
The name number adds up the letters of your name using the Pythagorean system (A=1 through I=9, then starting again at 1). You reduce the total digit by digit to a single digit; 11, 22 and 33 are master numbers and stay as they are. Every letter counts, including a particle such as 'de'. Letters without an accented form, such as ø, æ and ł, are not counted.
The life path comes from your date of birth: you reduce the day, month and year separately to a single digit (or a master number), then add those three and reduce again. With your date of birth entered, the page shows that number too.
Numerology is a centuries-old tradition, not a science. The numbers are arithmetically exact; what they mean is a way of looking.
