How it works
Positions are calculated for the current moment with astronomical precision, in the tropical zodiac. A planet is called retrograde when it appears to move backwards against the stars as seen from Earth; this is an optical effect of the orbits.
The moon phase is the angle between the Moon and the Sun; the percentage is the share of the Moon's disc that is lit.
The positions of the Sun, Moon and planets are calculated with astronomical precision. The interpretation follows the Western astrological tradition: a centuries-old way of looking at the sky, not a scientific prediction.
